Terms of Service
Last updated: September 24, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
Ribby Sports (ribbysports.com) is operated by ribby.dev LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using Ribby Sports as an organizer, an umpire, or a spectator, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. The Service
Ribby Sports lets tournament organizers build brackets and field schedules, and lets umpires enter scores from their phones so everyone can follow results live. Organizer accounts are created by invitation. Umpires score with a code the organizer shares; they do not need an account. Published tournament pages can be viewed by anyone with the link.
3. Organizer Accounts
- Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the people you invite.
- Share umpire scoring codes only with people who should enter scores, and replace a code if it gets out.
- Give us accurate contact information so we can reach you about your account.
4. Your Content
Organizers own what they put into Ribby Sports: tournament details, team and field names, schedules, scores, logos, and taglines. You give us permission to store, process, and display that content to run the service, including showing published tournaments and your organization page publicly. You confirm you have the right to use any names and logos you upload, and that your content is not unlawful, infringing, or offensive.
Please do not enter personal information about players, such as ages, addresses, or phone numbers. Team names are all we need.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Try to guess umpire codes, access another organization’s data, or get around security or rate limits.
- Enter false scores or interfere with a tournament you are not authorized to score.
- Disrupt the service, overload it with automated requests, or use it for anything unlawful.
6. Fees
Any fees for organizers are agreed separately in writing. Following a tournament and scoring as an umpire are free.
7. Results and Availability
Scores are entered by umpires and organizers; we do not check them. The organizer is responsible for official results, schedule decisions, and running the event. We work to keep Ribby Sports available, especially during tournaments, but the service is provided “as is” and we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We recommend keeping a printed bracket on hand.
8. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put the service or other organizers at risk. Organizers can stop using Ribby Sports at any time. Deleting a tournament permanently removes it, its teams, schedule, and scores.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ribby.dev LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Ribby Sports, including decisions made based on scores, schedules, or brackets shown in the service.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota.
11. Privacy
How we collect and use personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest change. Continuing to use Ribby Sports after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Contact
